Villa Huertas is a tranquil sanctuary in the midst of San Miguel’s vibrant center. It is a compound of villas located in the heart of the historic centro, in beautiful San Miguel de Allende, an UNESCO-declared World Heritage City. The Villa is located on Calle Huertas, a quiet street within the legendary historic center, it is like stepping back in time, only a few steps from the main square.

The property is composed of (3) one-single units and (2) two-bedroom flats, with some of the units sharing a common roof top. The house and units are tastefully decorated with a modern accent, while keeping to its local design quality. The house can be rented entirely as a single property for a special event or each flat can be rented separately. The design respected some of the ancient walls of the original historic dwelling, exquisitely combining modern and old design aspects. Each Casita is fully furnished and equipped. There is a large, shared outer space with a beautiful desert-like landscape, covered with exotic regional plants, as are agaves and succulents. Villas Huertas also offers free, inner parking space (1 per Villa), this is a plus in San Miguel given the limited street parking! Upon your arrival, our team will welcome you with a continental breakfast which will include fresh squeezed orange juice, an array of teas, coffee and fine pastries.

Casita#1 has a cozy terrace where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets.

San Miguel de Allende is a thriving City steeped in rich history, with some of the most splendid colonial architecture in Mexico. It is a pleasure to walk through its charming cobblestone streets and admire the ocher colored dwellings. Enjoy a drink on one of its stunningly beautiful rooftop terraces during sunset, or take a stroll around the main square (“Jardín”), while admiring the vistas of its imposing “Parroquia”, a one-of-a-kind neogothic church built with regional rose cantera or pink, local quarry.

San Miguel has a world of activities and places to visit. It is well known for its fine dining and culinary world. Also visit the local markets, where you will see fine crafted “artesanía” and textiles, while also shopping for delicious exotic fruit among a festival of colorful piñatas. Explore La Aurora, an old textile factory converted into a modern venue for art and décor shops. Interact with San Miguel’s very amiable and kind people. Relax in its natural mineral hot springs, or walk in the botanical gardens. And definitely, do not miss the traditional local festivities which take place throughout the year, including Easter and day of the dead!
